Bowditch return delayed
Posted in News | By WilkaIpswich Town striker Dean Bowditch was expected to be avaiable for the Seagulls this weekend against Nottingham Forest but his loan move has once again been delayed.
Bowditch was due to sign on a months loan deal, but the deal has been on hold while he recovers from a groin injury, but there has now been a further delay as he has been drafted into the Ipswich squad for their game with Watford this weekend.
Ipswich are short of strikers with Alan Lee suspended and Jon Walters cup-tied for the FA Cup 5th round tie.
Town manager Jim Magilton told the official Ipswich website: “We do have restricted options up front for the Watford game and we will probably draft Dean back into the squad.
“He has not trained much since his injury, but it’s a case of needs must and we are likely to get him involved.
“We know what Dean can give us and it will be an opportunity for him.”
