Nottingham Forest Preview

Posted in Previews | By Wilka

ForestThis weekend sees the visit of League One promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest to the Withdean Stadium as the Seagulls look for 2 wins on the trot following Tuesdays 4-1 win over Leyton Orient.

It looks like a big ask for the Seagulls who’s home form this season has been nothing less than disasterous with just 4 league wins all season.

Forest on the other hand have matched expectations this season as they mounts a serious promotion bid and find themselves momentarily outside the League One top 2 with 56 points in 3rd place.

Forest’s form has been up and down of late and gives the Seagulls some hope of springing a surprise. A 1-0 defeat away to Carlisle was followed by a 2-2 draw with Bradford before a return to winning ways in their last game against relegation threatened Northampton.

A near sell out crowd is expected at the Withdean stadium for the first time this season and historically the Albion have always performed better against the better sides in this division. It should be an interested afternoon!
