One step forward two steps back – The story of Albion’s season so far

The Albion have not won 4 games in a row since September 2001 and that fact didn’t change last weekend as the Seagulls hoped to match that feat with a win over Bristol City.

Albion 0-2 Bristol City

Bristol CityAlbion’s good form came to a crashing end today as they lost 2-0 at home to promotion chasers Bristol City. Two goals from Phil Jevons was enough for City as the Seagulls never really looked like scoring.

GillinghamAlbion made it 3 wins in a row thanks to a 1-0 win over former landlord Gillingham. A first half striker from former Gills striker Bas Savage was enough to give the Seagulls all three points.

Albion sign Flinders on loan

Albion have today signed Crystal Palace goalkeeper Scott Flinders on a month’s loan to provide cover for the injured Michel Kuipers. The former England Under-21 keeper is expected to make his Albion debut in tonight’s game with Gillingham.
