Albion thrash the Palace!
Posted in News | By WilkaAlbion reserves have tonight enjoyed a 4-1 win over rivals Crystal Palace thanks to a brace from Joe Gatting and Nathan Elder.
Joe Gatting opened the scoring after 9 minutes when he finished off a cut back from French winger Alex Frutos.
Gatting extended the lead on 19 minutes. A corner was played low by Sam Rents to the penalty spot with Gatting running on to finish low and hard.
Palace pulled one back through Tommy Black before Gatting’s strike partner Nathan Elder made it 3-1 before half time with a header from a Gary Hart cross.
15 minutes before the end of the game Gatting sent Nathan Elder through to finish off the scoring and complete the 4-1 thrashing.
