Australian playmaker Ward signs from QPR
Posted in News | By Wilka21-year-old Australian midfielder QPR playmaker Nick Ward is another transfer deadline day signing for the Seagulls joining on loan until the end of the season.
Described by the club as an ‘exciting flair player’ Ward has played 21 times for QPR this season since joining in the summer from Austrilian side Perth Glory.
Ward told Seagulls.co.uk “I like to play good football, that’s what I’ve always tried to do. I like to get the ball down and pass it, get forward and score goals.”
Before siging for QPR Ward made 21 appearances for Hyundai A-League side Perth Glory last season, bagging five goals - has represented his country at all levels and only just missed out on a spot in the Socceroos’ World Cup squad.
Ward has not featured in QPR manager John Gregory’s plans since the 2-2 draw with Luton Town in the FA Cup on Saturday 6th January.
