The first bit of transfer deadline day activity involving the Seagulls has taken place with Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch returning to the Seagulls on a months loan.

Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton told the Ipswich official website. “Dean will be going back to Brighton,”

“He would probably like to go there for the rest of the season but we have to be careful with the Alan Lee injury situation so we’re letting him go for just the month.

“Dean going to Brighton is all about the player getting games and goals and building up his confidence and we’ll see how it goes after the month.”

The Seagulls interest in Darren Currie appears to have cooled off with Ipswich requesting a small transfer fee. 

It also looks like Wayne Henderson may have found a club already with Championship promotion hopefuls Preston North End reported to have agreed a fee with the Albion for Irish international goalkeeper.
